Mahima Arrawatia
Assistant Professor
Department of EEE, IIT Guwahati

Dr. Mahima received the M.Tech degree and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India. She has been Assistant professor with the department of electronics and electrical engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Assam, India. Her research interests include energy harvesting, mircostrip antennas and analog and RF integrated circuits design.

PhD Students

Praveen Saraswat
He received the B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication from Uttar Pradesh Technical University in 2013 and the M Tech. degree in Microwave Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology BHU in 2016. He worked as an Assistant Professor at Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. He is pursuing a Ph.D. at the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, India. His research interests include high-efficiency power amplifiers (PAs) and millimeter-wave integrated circuits and systems.

Uday Maurya (Co-supervisor Dr. Nagarjuna Nallam)
He received the B.Tech. Degree in electronics engineering from Dr. A.P.J Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, India, in 2018, and M.Tech. Degree in VLSI & Embedded Systems from Indian Institute of Technology, Patna, India, in 2020. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in electronics and electrical engineering with the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, India. He worked on DC-DC Converters as a design intern with ST Microelectronics NV, Geater, Noida, India, from May 2019 to June 2020. His research interests include CMOS/RF/mm-wave transceiver systems and device modeling.

Surabhi Mishra
She had received the B.Tech. degree from the University of MJPRU, Bareilly, UP, India, specialized in the domain of Electronics and Instrumentation. She had joined as direct PhD student in the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in July 2021. Her research focus is on the topic of NB-IoT transceiver design (at SubGHz frequency range).

Bollam Shiva Prasad
He is Ph.D. student at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, with a research focus on the design of mm-Wave and THz circuits, mainly frequency synthesizers and RFIC design. He received Master's degree in VLSI from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, where he worked master's thesis under the guidance of Professor Hafizur Rahaman on "Gate Driver Circuits for SiC MOSFET". He received B.Tech degree from Vardhaman College of Engineering, Hyderabad, and a diploma in electronics from Government Polytechnic, Warangal.

Shashank Kumar Srivastava (Supervisor Prof. Ratnajit Bhattacharjee and Co-Supervisor Dr. Mahima Arrawatia)
Pursuing PhD in Electronics and Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, India. He is received the M.Tech. degree in RF Microwave Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology ISM Dhanbad and B.Tech degree in ECE from UPTU Lucknow. He worked as JRF at IIT Bhubaneswar, Odisha, in RF Microwave. Lab, a project entitled "Single Chip test set for Portable 5G Network Analyzer". Project Associate II CSIR NAL National Aerospace Lab, Bangalore, with final selection for Research Scientist Post SAMEER Vishakhapatnam.

M.Tech Students

Kartali Chanukya(Co-supervisor Dr. Prithwijit Guha)
He had completed his B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from R.V.R. & J.C. College of Engineering, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. He is pursuing his Master's in VLSI and Nanoelectronics at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, India. His primary research interests includes FMCW radar.

Sai Karthikeya Pappu(Supervisor Prof. Ratnajit Bhattacharjee and Co-Supervisor Dr. Mahima Arrawatia)
He had completed his B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from SNIST Hyderabad, Telangana, India, in 2022. He is pursuing his Master's in Microelectronics Photonics and RF at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Assam, India. His research interests include RF Integrated Circuit Design and on-chip Passive Design.

Peri Surya Srikar
He graduated from IIT Guwahati in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering. He has over a year of industry experience at Silicon Labs where he was involved in RF/Analog circuit design and post-silicon debug. As a JRF, he worked on 270GHz power amplifier and mixer design.

Dr. Anik Ghosh
He had completed his Ph.D. from the Department of EEE, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati on Digital Holography in 2023. Prior to his Ph.D, he had done M.Tech. in Radio Physics and Electronics (spl: Microwave and Space Science) from IRPE, University of calcutta and B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from MALAUT (formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology, WBUT). His research interests are Digital holography, Optical Imaging, Microwave Engineering, Antenna and Filter design, etc. Currently, he is working as JRF.

Rahul Sharma
He has a huge interest in building applications in and around Electronics & Computers. He has worked with various organizations such as Aricent Technologies, Silicon Mentor, etc on competitive technical projects related to electronics hardware and software development. Presently, he is working on Programmable SAW Filters for IoT applications and also developing Receiver building blocks such as LNA, Mixer, VCO, etc. His area of interest involves Analog IC/RFIC and SAW Devices/RF-MEMS. He is working towards his PhD at IIT Guwahati in VLSI Lab. Prior to this, he obtained his M.Tech from NIT Silchar in Microelectronics & VLSI Design and B.Tech from Uttar Pradesh Technical University in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Currently, he is working as JRF.
