Morigaon Test Site

The Morigaon test site is located in Assam state, north-east part of India, has wide variety of land cover and agriculture crops. It is situated adjacent to Brahmaputra River. The region experienced a humid subtropical climate with heavy monsoon rainfall (1500-2500 mm annually), making agriculture predominantly rainfed. The scene centre is around 26°9'5.13";N latitude and 92°30'4.41"E longitude. The major crops in this area are rice, maize, and vegetables.
