Mr. Rahul Kumar Sahu, MTech 2nd Year, received the Best Paper Award for his paper entitled "Study of the Business Incubation Ecosystem in Assam, India." (Track - Entrepreneurship, innovation and Startup Ecosystem) in the International Conference on Entrepreneurship, Sustainability and Emerging Technologies for Economic Development (ICESETED'26), organized by Rajkiya Engineering College, Azamgarh, affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University, Lucknow, during March 19-20, 2026.

Mr. Kshitij Yashwant Umbarje received Best Paper Award for his paper entitled, "Assessing the Potential of Assam Lemon on the Economic Development of Assam." (Track - Digital Empowerment, Rural Development and Public Policy) in the International Conference on Entrepreneurship, Sustainability and Emerging Technologies for Economic Development (ICESETED'26), organized by Rajkiya Engineering College, Azamgarh, affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University, Lucknow, during March 19-20, 2026.

Ms. Ranjana Dekha, Research Scholar, received the 3rd Best Oral Presentation Award for the paper entitled, "Blockchain Technology: Driving a New Age Innovation in the Agri-Food Supply Chain System" in the International Conference on Sustainable Agriculture and Food Safety 2026 organised by Parul University, Vadodara, Gujrat, India during March 12-13, 2026.

Ms. Pankhi Goswami, Research Scholar, participated in the DOJO Social Impact Program organised by University of Tsukuba, Japan in India, gaining insights into grassroots initiatives and real-world challenges. She had the opportunity to collaborate in a diverse international team with Japanese students, enriching her cross-cultural and field-based learning experience. It was held during March 2 – 14, 2026.

2025

Our students, Pankhi Goswami, Stootee Baruah and Anshuman Ghosh (School of Agro and Rural Technology (SART), IITG, Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati) were finalists of the IFAMA 2025 Venture Building Challenge. They competed with 27 teams from 8 countries.

Ms. Ranjana Deka, Research Scholar, received the 2nd Best Oral Presentation Award for the paper entitled, "Utilisation of Citrus Peel for Value Added Health Benefits" in the National Conference on Advances in Food based Technologies for Food and Nutrition Security organised by Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Assam during March 1-2, 2025.
