Professional Background

I am an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, Assam, India.

Before joining IIT Guwahati, I served as an Assistant Director at the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), an organization of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW), Government of India (GoI).

My specialization is in Agribusiness Management, especially Agribusiness Incubation and Entrepreneurship Development.

I am a founding member of the 'Centre for Innovation and Agripreneurship,' a Section 8 company hosted at MANAGE. It is a Centre of Excellence in Agribusiness Incubation and a knowledge partner to MoA&FW for Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana - Remunerative Approaches for Agriculture and Allied Sector Rejuvenation (RKVY-RAFTAAR). I played an instrumental role as Co-Principal Investigator and COO/Business Manager in executing the overall activities. I also worked as the Project Coordinator for the National Entrepreneurship Awards curated by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MoMSDE), GoI.

I have 10+ years of experience in academia, industry, and research. I have 30+ publications in journals/books of national and international repute.
